LETAgenotEnvydrawwrinklesonthycheeks,becontenttobeenvy’d,butenvynot。EmulationmaybeplausibleandIndignationallowable,butadmitnotreatywiththatpassionwhichnocircumstancecanmakegood。Adisplacencyatthegoodofothersbecausetheyenioyit,thoughnotunworthyofit,isanabsurddepravity,stickingfasttmtocorruptednature,andoftentoohardforHumilityandCharity,thegreatSuppressorsofEnvy。ThissurelyisaLyonnottobestrangledbutbyHerculeshimself,orthehigheststressofourminds,andanAtomofthatpowerwhichsubduethallthingsuntoitsel£;
