ThereisalittletowninSuffolkcalledEye,wherethesubjectofoneofthesereadingswasatale(byMr。WilkieCollins)fromthelastChristmasNumberofthisJournal,entitled\"PickingupWaifsatSea\"。ItappearsthattheEyegentilitywasshockedbytheintroductionofthisrudepieceamongthetasteandmusicalglassesofthatimportanttown,onwhichtheeyesofEuropearenotoriouslyalwaysfixed。Inparticular,thefeelingsofthevicar’sfamilywereoutraged;andaLocalOrgan(say,theTattlesnivelBleater)
