Butatnightfallthewindarose,——atfirstasadistantmurmuralongthehillside,thatdiedawaybeforeitreachedtherockyledge;thenitrockedthetopsofthetallredwoodsbehindthemill,butleftthemillandthedriedleavesthatlayintheriver-
