Thesevariousprocessesoflawandequity,which,whenexercisedpracticallyintheaffairsofordinarybusiness,mighthaveoccupiedafewmonths’time,dragged,clung,retrograded,oradvancedslowlyduringaperiodofeightornineyears。ButthestrongarmsofBiggsandThatcherheldPOSSESSION,andpossibly,bythesametacticsemployedontheotherside,arrestedordelayedejectment,andsomadeandsoldquicksilver,whiletheiropponentswerespendinggold,untilBiggs,sorelyhitintheinterlacingsofhisarmor,fellinthelists,hischeekgrowingwaxenandhisstrongarmfeeble,andfindinghimselfinthissorecondition,andpassing,asitwere,madeoverhisshareintrusttohiscomrade,anddied。Whereat,fromthattimehenceforward,RoyalThatcherreignedinhisstead。

fear,onlythroughitshalf-humorousaspects,——andonthisplanehewaspleasedtoplacewomenandchildren。Imentionthisfactforthebenefitofthemoreyouthfulmembersofmyspecies,andamsatisfiedthatanunconditionalsurrenderandthecompletelayingdownatthefeetofBeautyofallstrongmasculinityisacheapGallicismthatisuntranslatabletomostwomenworthythewinning。

ForawomanMUSTalwayslookuptothemanshetrulyloves,——evenifshehastogodownonherkneestodoit。
